^Lot 744a Winchester Model 94 'Antlered Game' .30-30

#AG09649. Lever action rifle chambered for 30-30 Winchester, commemorating four types of antlered game favored in North American hunting: Deer, Elk, Moose, and Caribou. Features a 20 inch round barrel with adjustable sights. Most steel parts are blued, with the receiver, lever, link and bands finished in a bright gold color. The two piece stock is highly figured walnut, oil rubbed type finish, checkered at forend and wrist, with curved steel buttplate. Barrel is engraved on right "antlered game" with gold color inlay. Receiver has fine detail engraving on both sides featuring scrollwork borders surrounding multiple smaller inset scenes of the four antlered game species in natural environments. Right side of butt has an inlaid coin type medallion, with similar gold coloration, featuring portraits of the four featured animals. Bore is excellent. Retains 99% original finish on metal surfaces. Action is smooth and the wood is excellent. Manufacture 1978. Comes with original factory box with colorful game scenes, manual. Box has tears, scuffs. Also included is two vintage boxes of Winchester "Antlered Game" 170 gr. power point 30-30 cartridges, 1 full box and 1 box containing 19 cartridges. Color images of antlered game on boxes.
