^Lot 719 Winchester Model 70 'Pre 64' .308 Norma Mag. SN: 8

This rifle's original caliber was .30-06, it has been rechambered for .308 Norma Magnum. New caliber is engraved on the lower barrel. Bolt action push feed rifle. Pre-64, manufactured circa 1947. Features blued finish, wood stock with semi-pistol grip, Pachmayr vented recoil pad, checkered panels at wrist & forend, 24" barrel, blade/bead front sight, folding u-notch adjustable rear sight with white diamond, three position manual safety, hinged floorplate, sling swivels, receiver drilled/tapped for optics. Bore is very good/bright, strong rifling. Blued finish is about 60% handling wear to the bolt knob, barrel and bottom metal, action is smooth, and the stock is good/sound with many many minor scratches, checkering is worn. Comes with two sets of RCBS dies and neck sizer for shell holder #4. Like new.
