Lot 654 Rare S. Baldwin Knife w/Scabbard.
Marked "Coffin Hilt" with horn scales and pewter inlay circa 1830-1840 with scabbard. Thin steel blade, light sharpening, good overall with 90% clear blade marking. With good frontier era double scabbard with 3 1/4 belt loop still attached. Very attractive and early. Note: inlays missing from scabbard.
