Fabrica Nacional De Armas bolt action rifle chambered in 7x57mm. First domestically manufactured Mexican Military issued rifle. 40,000 Produced between 1910 and 1934. 29" round barrel with inverted "V" blade front sight and adjustable ladder rear sights graduated from 1-18. Straight bolt handle, arsenal markings, Mexican National crest, and "1931" date on receiver ring. Matching serial numbers on receiver and bolt. Smooth straight grip stock, bayonet lug, sling swivels, and flat steel buttplate. Missing cleaning rod. Brass plate with rack number "102" affixed to the underside of buttstock. Imported by CAI, marked on left barrel. Bore is rough with rifling present. Wood is good/sound with many dings, small dents Metal is mostly a brown patina with some dull blue on the barrel. All markings are clear. Action is smooth/tight. A rare rifle.
