Possibly experimental Mills .45 LC pistol cartridge carrier on Rock Island marked leather and brass mounted combination utility belt. Refer Meadows pg. 396 identifies the Mills carrier as Mills and a small brass plate reads Anson Mills Dec 28 - 1880. Condition is good to V.G. with minor fraying at ends and cracking with normal age to leather. Kopec inventory indicates a value of $2,000 many years ago. The estate of John Kopec.
