U.S WWII era military bolt action rifle manufactured circa 1943. Serial number on dates it to Feb. 43, R.A. barrel dated 1-43. Features full parkerized finish, arsenal replaced 'scant' walnut stock without grasping grooves, walnut handguard, 24" barrel, protected blade front sight , adjustable peep rear sight mounted to receiver, bent bolt handle, bolt handle stamped "R", and front sight protector stamped "R.",manual safety, magazine cut-off switch, sling swivels, stacking swivel, butt trap with hinged cover, checkered flat steel buttplate. Bottom metal and bands are stamped. The replaced stock has no visible cartouches. Retains about 97% finish with minor scuffs. Stock is very good with minor scratches. Action is crisp/tight. Bore is very good/bright, all markings are crisp/clear.
