Lot 204 International Harvester M1 Garand .30-06

#4640290 US military semi-automatic rifle, manufactured circa 1953. The workhorse rifle of the US military in WWII and beyond, this example made during the Korean War. Features parkerized finish, walnut stock & hand guards, 24" barrel, adjustable sights with protected front blade & protected rear peep, fixed magazine for en-bloc clip, manual safety. Trigger guard has the later stamped style guard. Barrel marked "LMR D6535448 6 53 A15". Bolt marked "IHC". Rear sight marked "IHC DRC". "IHC" observed on hammer, trigger housing. Bore is shiny/bright. Various metal parts show different colors of parkerized finish, almost black on bolt and op rod, receiver shows greenish lighter gray color, 95% coverage of arsenal refinish. Markings on receiver show some erosion/losses. The wood is very good with typical handling marks, scratches and gouges, "P" on bottom of wrist. Includes a CMP COA for the receiver.
NRA Condition is Very Good as refinished
