'Eastern Carbine'. Vintage lever action repeating rifle chambered in .30-30 Winchester. Rifle has been refinished. Manufactured 1910. Features a reblued finish, polished loading gate. 20" barrel, full-length tube magazine, ramped, blade/bead front sight , adjustable u-notch rear sight, smooth trigger, serrated hammer spur, steel receiver, smooth walnut forend and straight wrist shoulder stock with knurled metal buttplate. Bore is fair, strong rifling, frosting in the grooves. Retains 98% re-blue with very light pin-prick pitting showing under, mostly on the right receiver, plum colored barrel is very good. Wood is good/sound with minor scratches/dings. Markings are crisp. Original buttplate has been replaced with a vented Pachmayr recoil pad, the forearm is loose due to missing barrel band screw and the front upper tang screw is missing.
