Un-cataloged high quality Miroku gun has no model marking. Consigner purchased this gun in Japan many years ago. 28" chopper lump barrels, low profile sighting rib with added orange front sight, mid steel bead, 2 3/4' chambers, choke measure left-IC, right-Full. Holland & Holland style "7 pin side plate" is a style of sidelock shotgun adorned with seven pins, a hallmark of best-quality guns. Barrels marked with gauge and chamber and Miroku address. Barrel flats are stamped with serial numbers with Japanese nitro proofs. Case color finished sidelock action features automatic tang safety and gold toned double triggers. Extensive floral/scroll engraving. "B. C. Miroku" is on bottom of action. Serial number is on blued trigger guard tang, all serial numbers match. Lightly figured European walnut straight grip with well cut point pattern checkering, serrated wood buttplate, brass plated oval is on toe line. Matching splinter ejector forend with Anson release, rear sling swivel. Lop-13 1/2' to front trigger, Dac-1 1/2' and Dah-2". The bores are excellent/bright, the case colors are excellent, the wood is very good sound with minor scratches/dings and the blued barrels are about 94% with minor scratches/rubs, there are two small patches of light patina. The sighting rib has been painted a lime green color for better sighting, easily removed. NRA Condition-Near Very Good. Modern Firearm.
