Desirable single-shot falling block sporting rifle chambered in 7x57 Mauser. Manufactured in Southport, CT circa 2001.Features a blued finish, 22" round tapered barrel without provisions for sights, quarter rib with integral scope mount cuts, raised blade/brass bead front, adjustable, flip 'white diamond' rear sights, serrated curved trigger, sliding tang safety, two-piece finger lever, sling swivel studs, point checkered American Walnut forend, and semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with metal grip cap, black factory recoil pad & 13 1/2” LOP. Rifle exhibits approximately 99% of its original blued finish. The action is mechanically sound, the bore is excellent and the walnut stocks are excellent.
