^Lot 117 Winchester Model 1892 .44 WCF SN: 723119

Vintage lever action rifle manufactured circa 1912. Chambered for .44-40. Features 24-1/4" round barrel, full length magazine tube, dovetailed blade/bead front sight, adjustable buckhorn rear sight, smooth walnut forend & straight wristed buttstock, steel crescent buttplate, sling swivel studs. Bore is overall very good/bright, good rifling, with a couple of patches of light pitting. Blued finish has turned a gray/brown patina with traces of blue remaining on the loading gate, hammer. Winchester markings are a little shallow but readable, wood is very good, small dents. Markings on barrel readable. Action is smooth.
