^Lot 90 Winchester Model 1873 .32-20 SN: 400974

'Third Model' manufactured circa 1891. Features 24" octagonal barrel, full length magazine tube, German silver front sight, buckhorn rear sights, straight wrist, finger lever latch, smooth sliding dust cover with side rear serrations, (Dust cover is a newer replacement) steel crescent buttplate. Bore is rough/pitted, with visible worn rifling. Metal surfaces show a mostly dull brown/gray color, receiver has some patches of light pitting . Screw slots are generally good with some slight marring. Wood is overall good/sound, with many minor dents and scratches throughout. Butt has good fit to tang. Winchester markings are clear, readable. Brass lifter is unmarked.
