Holland & Holland Single Shot Rifle in 32-40 caliber. #13815
This rifle built by Holland & Holland 98 New Bond St. London was originally chambered in .295 semi smooth bore. Now chambered in 32-40 Winchester.
Barrel is engraved with "Winners of all the Field Rifle Trials"
The 26" Octagon has a Bright Shiny Bore with prominent rifling. The top surface has original matting with the original sights. It has a blade front and 3 leaf rear sights. Retains most of the original blueing. The receiver has some fine scroll engraving.
The figured walnut checkered stock is in good condition with minor handling dents. has aa horn forend tip and a steel buttplate.
Cased in a leather case with a Holland & Holland Label. There is no key for the lock.
This rifle has a Reserve.
Firearms are not tested and should be inspected by a Competent Gunsmith before firing.
