Lot 761 Deadwood, S.D. "Black Hills Pioneer" Boudoir Card

Featured in this lot is this large boudoir card photograph of the "Black Hills Pioneer" newspaper office on Main St Deadwood, S.D. circa 19th century; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. The cabinet card features a wonderfully and professionally crafted construction that shows men at work in the newspaper office with a wood stove and printing equipment set up around the room. The back of the cabinet card features handwritten notes that read as follows: Chas Chinuquy - Pioneer Times - office where Meriard is now on Deadwood's Main St.. The cabinet card comes complete with an original museum tag that reads as follows: Pioneer Times Newspaper office - Main Street Deadwood, S.D. The condition of this Imperial cabinet card is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage to the photograph with some browning to the cabinet card consistent with age but otherwise shows a well preserved condition.
