Included in this lot are Original Vintage Cracker Jack Christmas Store Advertisement Posters (3), circa 1950s. Developed in 1896, Cracker Jack was an American brand of snack food consisting of molasses-flavoured and caramel coated popcorn balls and Spanish peanuts. The treat was well known for being packaged with a prize of trivial value inside. Cracker Jack is known for being commonly sold at baseball games and is mentioned in the American standard, "Take Me Out To The Ball Game." The vintage posters feature a green Christmas tree adorned with small toys reminiscent of vintage Cracker Jack toys and Cracker Jack boxes as ornaments and garland; more Cracker Jack boxes are under the tree as gifts. The poster reads, "Add Cracker Jack to your Christmas Joy For A Happy Holiday Season Everybody's delight Youngsters Love it Grown-Ups Too the ideal last-minute gift TAKE HOME A SUPPLY NOW!" The bottom left corner has images of two hanging ornaments in which price would have been advertised. The advertisement posters are in good overall condition, very slight age tanning, folded. Each measures 17"W x 24.75"L approximately, weight U6.
