Featured in this lot is this sterling silver jet black cat brooch out of Taxco, Mexico circa 1960's. The brooch features a wonderfully and professionally crafted sterling silver and jet construction that shows a pin in the back ant the cat showing black coloration from the jet cabochon adorning the face and the body. The back of the broch is marked as follows: Mexico - TH-170 - .925. The condition of this Mexican brooch is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this brooch is 1 1/4" x 2 1/4". The collective weight of this brooch is 16.9g.
