^Lot 531 RARE Miss Bayrooty Circus Perfomer Cabinet Card

Featured in this lot is this Obermuller & Jon "Mis Bayrooty" cabinet card circa 19th century; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. This cabinet card features a wonderfully and professionally crafted construction that shows the young Mis Bayrooty full name: Zuleika Bayrooty. Bayrooty (also referred to as Mary Bayrooty, Marie Bayrooty, Marrie Bayrooty) was a young Syrian girl who does the Dervish Dance at Barnum & Baileys circus. The cabinet card reads as follows: Marrie Bayrooty - Obermuller and Jon - 28 Cooper Square, Opposite 5th St. New York. The condition of this prostitute cabinet card well preserved with some browning to the cabinet card consistent with the age but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of this cabinet card is 6 1/2" x 4 1/4". P221
