Lot 481 Diamond Dyes Mercantile Advertising Cabinet c1911

Featured in this lot is this Diamond Dyes mercantile advertising cabinet, circa 1911 recovered from Lincoln, New Mexico; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. The mercantile cabinet is a wonderfully and professionally crafted wooden and metal construction. The mercantile cabinet shows a frontal advertisement scene of children playing around a balloon and reads as follows: Diamond Dyes - The Standard Package Dyes of the World. The cabinet features multiple slots and shelves in the cabinet and features two doors one in the front and one in the back. The condition of this Diamond Dyes cabinet is well preserved with some wear to the wooden frame and the lithograph tin on the back of the case shows the artwork slightly painted over. The measurements of this cabinet is 24 1/2" x 15 1/4" x 8 3/4". The collective weight of this cabinet is 16lb 12oz.
