Lot 478 Montana Black Bear Full Mount Taxidermy
Featured in this lot is this beautiful, full mount Montana black bear taxidermy from the late 20th century. This mount depicts a young black bear walking up a rocky mountain side as he looks into the distance. His front paws are raised on a rock formation and his ears are perked up. It features a small excerpt from a Lewis and Clark journal entry and shows the Crow word for black bear reading, "Buushe". The base is set on wheels so it is easily moveable. It shows good condition overall with little to no wear present and no signs of damage is noted. It measures 45 3/4" L x 23" W x 54" H.
