Featured in this lot is this huge Lost Lake spear point aged from 9,500 - 8,500 B.P. and from the early Archaic period and housed in the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. This is a gigantic, triangular corner notch spear point. The cross section shows elliptical example and is knapped with a semi sharp serrated edge. The shoulders are barbed and slightly flared with deep corner notches. The point is constructed from grey chert material. The condition of this projectile point is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this point is 9 1/4" x 1 1/8".
