^Lot 333 Spangenberg Tombstone Leather Double Loop Holsters

Featured in this lot is this Spangenberg marked and San Pedro Saddlery tombstone, Arizona leather double loop Colt SAA holsters circa 1950's to 1960's and were housed in the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. There are two holsters in this collection. The first is a harness leather double loop holster for a Colt Single Action Revolver and is marked on the front as follows: Spangenberg - Gunsmith - Tombstone, A.T.; and was originally crafted by El Paso Saddlery and is marked on the back as follows: Colt S.A. - El Paso Saddlery Co. - Makers - El Paso, Tex - Made in Texas - 7 1/2. The second holster is a thick harness leather double loop holster for a Colt Single Action Revolver and is marked on the front as follows: San Pedro - Tombstone - Saddlery. The condition of this pair of holsters is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage with a slight patina adorning the leather but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of these holster 12 1/8" x 5" and 10 3/4" x 5". The collective weight of these holsters is 1lb.
