^Lot 74 Browning Auto 5 Semi Automatic 12 Ga Shotgun

Featured in this lot we have a Belgian Browning Auto 5 magnum semi automatic shotgun chambered in 12 gauge. This factory engraved example with serial number 24697 was made in the 1950s and sports a 30” ventilated rib full choke barrel. The barrel is correctly marked “Made in Belgium” along with the Browning patents and address. The receiver shows lovely scroll engraving on the sides, top portion, upper and lower tangs and trigger guard bottom. The pistol grips show fine checkering and has flat bottom rather than the round knob bottom. Mechanically the shotgun shows smooth action with proper lock and release button. The piece shows fair condition overall for its age with pitting and chipping across the blue'd finish. The shotgun weighs 8lbs 10oz. Serial Number: 24697.
