^Lot 53 Ca. 1890's Dovetail Copper Confectionary Kettle

Featured in this lot is this dovetail copper confectionary kettle circa 1890's. The copper kettle bowl shows double stationed wrought iron handles, a dovetail bottom, and a vertical dovetail joint leading to one of the wrought iron stationed handles. The side walling of the kettle is layered with two separate horizontal dovetail joints that make up the construction of this kettle or pot. The copper is molded with a hammered method to shape the kettle into completion. The condition of this confectionary kettle is well preserved with some patina adorning the copper but otherwise shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this confectionary kettle is 7 1/2" x 18 1/2" x 15 1/8". The collective weight of this confectionary kettle or pot is 10lb.
