Antique Spanish Model 1893 Mauser Bolt Action Rifle, #A6196, 7x57mm cal., 29"barrel, blued finish with bright bolt assembly, hardwood stock and handguard, dovetailed inverted-"V" front sight, and adjustable folding leaf rear sight with "V"-notched groove, graduated to 1900 yards. Includes cleaning rod and brown leather sling. Sling is in good used condition. Top of the receiver ring is marked with a faint Spanish crest over "OBERNDORF 1896." and the left side receiver rail with "MAUSER ESPANOL MODELO 1893./MANUFACTURA MAUSER OBERNDORF A/N". Matching numbers on the trigger guard and rear sight. Other numbered parts do not match. Condition overall is good, retaining approx. 40%-45% thinning and toning blue. Bolt assembly has toned darker. Wood is good general dents and scratches, with a notch carved into the underside of the forend, between the bayonet lug and barrel band. A faint "R" is stamped into the left side of the buttstock. Action operates smoothly. Bore is dark with fair, visible rifling. Est.: $400-$600. (Antique)
