Soviet M44 Mosin Nagant Bolt Action Carbine with Folding Bayonet, #44-2673, 7.62x54Rmm cal., 20.25" barrel, blued finish with bright bolt assembly, hardwood stock and handguard, hooded post front sight, and adjustable tangent rear sight with "U"-notched groove, graduated to 1000 meters. Includes bayonet and cleaning rod. Bayonet operates and locks into place smoothly. Top of the barrel shank is stamped with "(Soviet crest)/1944r/NE7949/(Izhevsk Arsenal symbol)". Matching visible numbers. Importer applied serial number and information on left side of the receiver. Condition overall is very good+, retaining approx. 97% arsenal refinished blue. Wood with scattered handling marks and some areas of flaking to the varnish finish. Action operates smoothly. Bore is bright with very good, clearly defined rifling. Est.: $300-$450. (C&R)
