Stevens (Savage) Model 820B Pump Action 12 ga Shotgun.

The Stevens Model 820 was made between 1949 and 1954. The Savage date code
consisting of a letter and one or two numbers in a 1/4 inch circle may be stamped on
the receiver or the barrel near the receiver.
This date code originated in 1949 and is as follows: A = 1949, B = 1950, C = 1951,
D = 1952, E = 1953. This gun has an E so 1953.

This one has a 23D so its 1952.

Barrel is 28 inch long.

Overall condition looks like it works 100% but we have not tested it.
Wood is good with no cracks and has black plastic butt pad.

Metal surfaces have lost all of the bluing - Trigger Guard has lost most of
its painted finish too.
