Desirable Winchester 1894 carbine in 38-55 caliber. Magazine tube, saddle ring and butt stock later replacements. Patina finish with minor erosion and pitting. Good markings, good action, fair bore. The stock is later production Winchester with milled steel buttplate. The buttplate is proud of the stock, there are 3 holes in the lower underside of the buttstock for sling stud. Manufactured 1894. First year of production.
