^Lot 123 Colt Detective Special .38 Spl #583689

Vintage small frame double-action snub-nosed revolver chambered in .38 Special, manufactured circa 1951. Features all steel construction, a blued finish, 2" barrel, serrated blade front sight, square notched rear sight, serrated trigger, exposed hammer with polished flats & serrated spur, fluted six-shot cylinder, non-shrouded ejector rod, and two-piece brown checkered plastic "Coltwood" grips with molded Rampant Colt images . Bore is excellent condition. Revolver retains approximately 98% of its original blued finish showing minor tracking on the cylinder and a couple of very minor scratches. Action is smooth with solid lock up and the wood grips are excellent. All Colt markings are crisp/clear.
