Lot 332 Chinese Hardstone Openwork Plaque, Double Phoenix
Chinese hardstone jade style carving of a pair of phoenix birds at the top of the plaque, openwork to the center, carving in high relief throughout the entirety of the body of the plaque. Zoomorphic beast stares out at the onlooker from beneath the birds. Size 2 3/4" W, weight 48 g. Condition: Wear and soiling commensurate with age.
