Roger Weik (b. 1949, American) Roger Weik is a contemporary abstract artist known for his richly textured, organic mixed-media paintings. Working primarily with copolymer emulsions and oxide pigments, Weik embraces spontaneity and chance, creating works that feel shaped by natural forces. He holds an MFA in Painting from Southern Illinois University and has exhibited nationally and internationally, including at the Musée d’Art Moderne in Lyon. His work is held in collections such as the Elgiz Museum in Istanbul and Chapman University’s Guggenheim Gallery. Weik currently lives and works in California.
