Filipino Moro barong sword with rattan wrapped wooden sheath. Heavy blade which is over 1/4" thick at thickest part is typical single edged leaf form. Handle with alternating silver and braided wrap bands for grip. Wooden kakatua patterned pommel with ornate carved crest and beak. Size 27" L, blade 17 1/2" L
