^Lot 55 Philippines Short Sword

Philippines Moro short sword with single edge curved blade and straight spine. Horn grip with checkering engraved to either side. Fitted with brass sleeves to either end of the grip. Turned knob end to pommel. Stamped to the ricasso (520). Size 19 3/8" L, blade 13" L, biggest part of spine 2/10" W,. Condition: Wear from use and age overall with a crack to the spine of the blade several inches from the guard. Guard slightly loose.. Provenance: Ex-Southern California Moro Collection
