Turkey, Ottoman Empire 16th century for use as a war hammer or horseman's pick in bronze. Round flared hammer side with a square body pierced to the center with a bulbous semicircle decoration at either side. Reverse a curved spike multisided spike. Size 4 1/2" L. Provenance: Ex-USA Collection
