(Hee, 1935) A studio gag drawing by T. Hee, expressing his and fellow animators’ fears of losing their jobs after the arrival of Frank Tashlin at Leon Schlesinger Productions. This drawing was featured in the 1975 documentary film “Bugs Bunny: Superstar.” Accomplished in graphite and colored pencil, the 9.5” x 12” drawing is in good condition with an adhesive stain on the bottom right edge and light discoloration from age. It has been mounted to a piece of 12.75” x 13.75 construction paper in good condition with edge wear, creasing, adhesive stains, and a 0.25” tear along the top edge.
