E Contento Brescia 12 ga Over Under Shotgun Made in Italy
This 1960's era E. Contendo, Brescia Italy 12 gauge over/under has 27.75 inch
barrels. Bluing on these ribbed barrels is very good at about 90%. Receiver area is
polished finish.
This is a non-ejector, double trigger shotgun with hand engraved Scrollwork.
This double is really nicely balanced - the English walnut stock does appear to be the
original finish. Forend is sound.
Stock and forend are free from any cracks or chips. Hand cut checkering is good
Barrels are free from any dents and bores are clean from rust.
Barrels are choked and appear to be IC/M equivelant.
Single metal bead on a narrow field rib. Pistol grip cap and butt plate are hard black
plastic and Butt Plate is broken with large chip off top.
Action locks up solid with Greener style cross bolt - top lever ahead of safety switch.
