Lot 59 Antique Kentucky Fullstock Bench Rifle
Kentucky style percussion fullstock heavy bench rifle made circa 1850 by an unknown gunsmith. Rifle measures 64" overall with a 48" octagon 60 caliber smoothbore with notch sights and extra dovetail for sight relocation. Stock has flat spot on underside for installation of a "Steady Rest". Percussion lock with double set trigger control. Full curly maple stock with brass hardware and right and left handed cheekpieces. Comes with striped hardwood ramrod. CALIBER: 60. FFL STATUS: Antique.
CONDITION
Overall good with metal turning brown with oxidation pitting around lock area. Wood has traces of finish with usage marks and dings. Pitted bore with functioning mechanics.
