^Lot 1131 US Revolver Co. Safety Automatic .38 S&W

SN: 37836. Trade name double action revolver manufactured by Iver Johnson circa 1910-1935. Features blue finish, checkered black hard rubber grips with "U.S. motifs, 3 1/4" barrel, fixed sights, 5 shot fluted cylinder. Bore is very good/bright with a couple of very small spots of pitting. Blue is about 20% in protected areas, the rest turning a brown/gray patina. Trigger & hammer are case hardened with traces remaining. Grips are very good. Action is functional with good lock-up. Cylinder only locked when trigger to rear.
