A beautiful fur trade strung bead neacklace, centered around an interesting very early Peace Medal style medallion appearing to be made of silver, with a moulded image of a beaver on one side and inscribed "Paix Amitie 1768" on the back. A fabulous fur trade period item from a prominent collection.
