1860-1870 period Northern Plains trade rifle with origins most likely from the Canadian traders of the era. Enfield pattern percussion lock with blacksmith forged fittings and oil finished walnut stock. Period of use impression and bruises and remaining mechanically operational. Examples of these have been located in Montana, Idaho the Washington state regions.
