Vintage pre-64 lever-action rifle manufactured 1905. 26" octagonal barrel with full length tube magazine. Ramped post/brass bead front, and adjustable sporting rear sight. Straight walnut stock, forearm. crescent steel buttplate. Standard Winchester markings on barrel. Winchester proofs. The left side of the receiver is engraved " Dick Petray" with large stag, very well done, looks great. Period done. Action is smooth/tight. Bore appears good, needs cleaning, rifling present. Blue finish was turned a gray patina, with dull blue remaining on the tube magazine, some minor scratches. Wood is good/sound. Markings are crisp/clear. NRA Condition-Good. C&R Firearm.
