by artist "Olaf Carl Wieghorst" depicting a western scene and named "The Navajo". Numbered and signed 967/1500 on the lower left. Wieghorst was born in Viborg, Denmark in 1899 and died in 1988. He is known for his paintings that include cowboys, horses, and Indians in landscape. He painted celebrity horses including Roy Rogers' Trigger, Gene Autry's Champion and Tom Morgan's stallion. Frame measures 32 1/2” wide x 35" tall. Doubled matted. Overall good condition. The frame has minor nicks and scratches. There are small tears in the cardboard and paper backing. Limited Edition. Certificate of Authenticity included. Collectible.
