Lot 1576 Remington Vest Pocket .41 RF NVSN

The Remington vest pocket pistols are also commonly referred to as "Saw Handle Derringers". This pistol was manufactured between 1865 to 1888 and has factory style floral scroll engraving. Nickel plated. The barrel has been shortened to 3" with no sight. The two line Remington address and patent dates are mostly obscured from wear. Bore has rifling, but the right side is heavily pitted. Barrel & right frame have corrosion/pitting, action works well, grips are very good. NRA Condition-Fair as Antique Firearm.
