Lot 1547 Reproduction Springfield M1873 Trowel Bayonet,
This is a new reproduction of the combination bayonet and entrenching tool adopted in 1873 for use with the .45-70 Springfield rifle. It includes a leather covered metal sheath and a wooden handle insert. Also included is a M1860 letter opener sword, leather scabbard with metal fittings,ricasso marked "US 1860".
