Sporterized Nazi proofed bolt action rifle chambered in 8mm Mauser, produced by J.P. Sauer circa 1942. Features a blued refinish, rebarreled. 24" tapered, sightless barrel integral box magazine, jeweled bolt, aftermarket safety, and Bishop custom walnut pistol grip stock with black forend tip, shadow line cheek rest and black plastic Bishop buttplate. Chamber marked "CE" in script, & 1942. Mounted with a Unertl 18x scope. and Unertl adjustable rings, with screw on lens covers. Clear optics. Rifle exhibits approximately 99% of it's blued refinish. Action is smooth, bore is very good, wood is very good with minor scratches/dings. NOTE* The rifle chambers & extracts a .22-250 cartridge perfectly, but there are no caliber markings. Please check with gunsmith before firing. Condition is NRA near Excellent as sporterized. C&R Firearm.
