Lot 1149 Carved Powder Horn
Antique late 18th century to early 19th century, 11 1/2". Scrimshaw style engravings depicting two hunting scenes. Top is a man with dog shooting a fox with a flintlock pistol while another runs away. Bottom is two dogs chasing two running stags toward a man holding a flintlock rifle. Leather strap is not original to the horn. Very good condition, wood base. Nice old patina.
