^Lot 813 Egyptian Campaign Sword

Rare officer's sword with cast bronze/brass alligator grip and hilt. "For My King and Country" and "Et Mon Droit", with British Nation Crest engraved on both sides of the blade. Blade is 31", 39 1/2" overall. Fair to Good condition w/ some dark patina on blade and no scabbard. One of few examples known to be carried by British Officers, who served in the Egyptian Campaign during the Napoleonic Era. From the Joseph Musso Collection
