Black powder percussion revolver marked "Colts Patent" on left side plate and "Address Sam L Colt New York City" on top of barrel, cylinder engraved by W.L.(Waterman Lilly) Ormsby New York. 7 3/8" octagon barrel, three screw side plate, checkered hammer spur, smooth trigger, blue finish, post front sight, rear sight is a “V” notch at the front of the hammer, visible when cocked, two-piece wood grip. Engraving is crisp. Includes original box with instruction manual.
