Double-Action revolver built on a square butt K frame with 5 screws. 4" round pinned barrel with fixed sights, non-shrouded extractor rod, two dowel pins in the star extractor. Built circa 1948-57,. S&W logo trade mark on right frame, all markings are clear. Wood grip with S&W medallions. Serrated trigger. Bore is rough/pitted, Action is crisp/tight, grips are sound, but well worn with numerous dings/dents. Blue is gone having turned a gray/brown patina. Magazine release latch is a newer replacement.
