U.S WWII era military bolt action rifle manufactured circa 1943. Features parkerized finish, walnut shoulder scant stock, walnut handguard, 24" barrel, blade front sight with protective cover, (Stamped "C64157-4") original peep rear sight mounted to receiver, bent bolt handle, manual safety, magazine cut-off switch, sling swivels, stacking swivel, butt trap with hinged cover, checkered flat steel buttplate. Bottom metal and bands are stamped. Bore is very good condition. Parkerized finish is about 95 % with bare metal visible where moving parts rub. Stock is very good condition, handling marks throughout. Barrel marked "RA /[flaming bomb]/ 8-44". Stock markings include "R.A.A.", "P" in square and "C-SAA ( San Antonio Arsenal rebuild) in square. Action is crisp/tight. Bored is very good/bright. Tan canvass sling attached. NRA Condition-Very Good. C&R Firearm.
