^Lot 388 Remington No 1 Rolling Block .32-40? #395

Rifle with Rolling-Block Action, with Carbine configuration. 22" barrel with front triangle, and v-notch rear sights. Has been re-barreled with a U.S. .30 cal. barrel stamped R A 4-44, with flaming ordnance bomb. Bore appears good, but dirty. Action is stiff. Barrel has wartime parkerized finish. Receiver has turned a dull gray patina, with rust spots. There is rust on the block. There are 3 notches cut into both sides of the receiver. Wood has scratches/dings, and has been varnished. Steel schnabel forearm cap. Chip repair on lower forearm. Crescent steel buttplate. "385" stamped on lower tang. NRA Condition-Fair. Antique Firearm.
